Featuring an expanse of manila hemp, a widely used shipping material native to Southeast Asia, the S.E.A. Focus 2023 pavilion transforms Tanjong Pagar Distripark into a contextual and experiential art space. Visitors get to enjoy the shifting tactility of the ropes, textured yet soft, sway and dance with the wind – seemingly conversant with the ever-moving Keppel terminal in the backdrop.
